Post of DIG is SP’s work!

Bhopal (Team Newsbuddy) . The state government promoted four Superintendents of Police to DIG from January 1, 2025 and promoted four DIGs to the post of IG. Even after seven months, the government has not been able to take a decision regarding the posting of the four officers promoted to the post of DIG. The designation of these officers has changed, but they are doing the same work. Those who were made DIG include SSP Radio Vijay Kumar Khatri, SP Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh, AIG Rakesh Kumar Singh and Vineet Jain in Police Headquarters.

After this, Rajesh Chandel and Sachindra Chauhan have been promoted to DIG. Among these, Chandel has been made Rewa DIG, but Chauhan is still waiting for posting to a higher post. He is currently a commander in the 32nd Battalion Ujjain.

Similarly, Sachin Atulkar, Krishnaveni, Kumar Saurabh and Jagat Singh Rajput were promoted from DIG to IG. Among these, all except Jagat Singh Rajput got posting at new places. Rajput was DIG in the planning branch at the police headquarters. Only his designation was changed, not his work. He is retiring in August. Apart from Krishnaveni, Sachin Atulkar and Kumar Saurabh got new postings in June. After a spat between IG Sushant Saxena and SP Virendra Mishra at the inauguration of Datia airport, apart from these two officers, Kumar Saurabh was removed and made IG at the police headquarters and Atulkar was made Chambal IG in place of Saxena.
