Hardia performs Bhumi Pujan for Someshwar Temple garden
Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Tulsi Nagar is set to witness major infrastructure upgrades with the sanction of around ₹14 crore from the MLA Fund for the construction of the main road from the Tulsi Nagar culvert to Nipania Road. The project has also been cleared by the Mayor-in-Council, and tenders will be floated shortly.
This announcement was made by Indore Assembly Constituency-5 MLA and former minister Mahendra Hardia during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Someshwar Mahadev Temple Garden in B-Sector, Tulsi Nagar, on Sunday.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from residents and women of the locality, along with Ward 37 Corporator and Chairperson of Indore Municipal Corporation Zone 8, Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi, IMC Engineer Akash Lashkari, and prominent citizens including K.K. Jha, Kamlesh Sharma, Rakesh Jaiswal, Lal Singh Dhakad, Bharti Shakyawar, Sunaina Hardia, Deepchand Pancholi, Kailash Sabharwal, Kailash Tomar, Manoj Dixit, Narayan Meena, Jagdish Upadhyay, Hemant Dubey, and Dilip Verma.
Speaking on the occasion, Hardia emphasized that Tulsi Nagar has already received several development projects in recent years, with the upcoming main road being the most significant. He also assured residents that efforts are underway to regularize plots entangled under the Ceiling Act in Tulsi Nagar.
Corporator Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi, while lauding the support of local MLA Mahendra Hardia, said it is perhaps for the first time that an MLA has allocated almost his entire annual MLA fund for the construction of a single colony road within his constituency. This, she added, reflects his deep interest and commitment towards Tulsi Nagar.
She further noted that after the successful development of Saraswati Dham and Ananteshwar Dham gardens in Tulsi Nagar, the Someshwar Temple Garden is the third garden being developed by the IMC in the colony.
Highlighting the upcoming development works, Joshi said that projects including the
installation of four high-mast lights, pavement construction, and the raising of boundary walls at Saraswati Dham have already been approved. In the next phase, stormwater drains, sewage lines, and internal roads in various sectors of the colony will be completed in four stages. Proposals for these works will soon be formally presented to the Municipal Corporation for approval, she added.
On the occasion, social activist Rakesh Jaiswal was felicitated by MLA Hardia for his dedicated role in addressing civic issues and contributing to the progress of Tulsi Nagar.
