IIST Group of Institutes’ four-day induction program “Abhigyata Parv 2025” begins

Indore(Team Newsbuddy) : The 4-day induction ceremony “Abhigyata Parv 2025” for the students of Engineering and Management Batch 2025 of IIST Group of Institutes started on 18 August. This induction program, which will run till 21 August, is being organized in the Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium and College Campus. Traditional lamp lighting was done in front of Maa Saraswati. The main objective of this event is to make the new students aware of the institute’s systems, protocols and processes, but also to give the students an opportunity to know how they can become a better professional by using every facility and guidance provided by the institute and can make their future bright by building an ideal character.
On the first day, the group’s group advisor Arun S Bhatnagar addressed the students. First of all, Bhatnagar while addressing the students said that in the current environment, students should be ready to adopt AI. In the coming times, skill is more important than degree. He explained the new education model Samagra Samutkarsh Yojana and Curiosity Driven Education. He called for deep thinking and staying away from negative things. Along with this, he gave information about providing budget for the college’s start-up and research. While motivating the students, he said that whatever the situation, you should keep yourself ready. He said that we are preparing children for Industry 5.0. Discussed about the “Samagra Samutkarsh Yojana” being run for the all-round development of our students and explained how this scheme combines academic excellence with personal development and ethical values with social responsibility.

After this, Rajni Sekhri Sibal, IAS Secretary Department of Fisheries, who was the topper of IAS 1986 batch, while addressing the students said that your life is your own, you have to decide what you want to do because there is no other way to succeed except hard work. You should dream a lot but also lay a strong foundation.

Dr. Ankit Shah (Foreign Policy and Security Expert) expressed his views on the subject of “Building a Developed India 2047” and told that Dr. Ankit Shah addressed the students. You said that students should study core sector courses because now those dollar jobs are going to end. You further said that

India has a saving rate based lifestyle while the rest of the world has a consumption based lifestyle. Birth rate is decreasing due to the dollar. There is a fertility problem in this and the new generation is not being born.

In the end, Principal Dr. Keshav Patidar expressed his gratitude and the senior students welcomed the new students with a cultural program.

All the speakers addressed the students on their respective subjects and inspired them to build a better future and also answered the questions of the students and resolved their queries.

On the second day of the program on August 19, Dr. Prabhat Ranjan, Chairman (Research, Innovation and International Relations), DY Patil Pratishthan, Pune, will present their views on different topics like “India’s Technology Vision 2035 and its Impact”,
Adeen Shukla (CTO, Metafiq) and Mehvish Khan (CO Founder Qualimetrics) will present their views on different topics.
