“Stay focused, build purpose’’: PIMR Induction ceremony

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): “Your credibility is your currency. Be good, be the change, and keep reinventing yourself to remain relevant,” said Sanjeev Khanna, COO, Patanjali Foods Limited, while addressing the 32nd Deeksharambh (Invocation Ceremony) of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR) – PG Batch 2025–27, held along with the induction ceremony of the Prestige Institute of Business Management (PIBM) at the Manmohan Mehta Auditorium, Sangeet Kala Academy, on Monday.
Khanna urged students to discover their passion, identify their true potential, and surround themselves with the right people. Stressing the importance of emotional intelligence, lifelong learning, and responsible citizenship, he reminded the young audience: “If you are not updated, you are outdated.” He cautioned them against losing focus in today’s distraction-driven world.
Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of Prestige University, emphasized that the purpose of education extends far beyond earning degrees. “It is about building resilience, turning rejection into opportunity, and leading with conviction,” he said. Dr. Jain stressed the importance of self-awareness: “You must know where you stand today to decide where you want to go tomorrow.” He called on students to begin their journey with courage, perseverance, and faith.
Dr. Bharat Rawat, a senior cardiologist at Medanta Hospitals, Indore, shared practical lessons for student life at PIMR. He emphasized the value of time, the importance of managing stress effectively, and the need to remain humble. “Do not react, but respond. Do good, feel good—it will inspire you to do more good,” he advised, also urging students to focus on healthy living and finding life’s true purpose.
Speaking on India’s economic potential, Satyendra Tiwari, Senior Director, Operations, CNH Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd., described students as “creators of India’s future.” He called India’s young population its greatest strength and urged them to focus on manufacturing as a driver of growth. “We lost the chance to become a global semiconductor hub,” he cautioned, “but we must not miss the opportunities of tomorrow.” He underscored the need for skilling as the key to the nation’s future.
Earlier, PIMR Group Director Dr. S. S. Bhakar welcomed the dignitaries and reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to holistic student development and academic excellence. PIBM Director and AIC-PIF CEO, Dr. Sanjeev Patni, and PIMR Group Director (Admissions), Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to make the best use of their years at Prestige to build strong careers and character.
The ceremony also featured the unveiling of the institute’s annual magazine, Swagat. Hosted by Dr. Rashmi Badjatya Rawat, the program concluded with the solemn Deeksharambh ritual, where students, faculty, and dignitaries pledged to embark on a journey of excellence, innovation, and responsible leadership.
