Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : The focus of Metro Rail Corporation is on completing the work of 17 kms of Metro train in Indore. At present, passengers are not being found in the 7 kms of Metro which is running. MD of Metro Rail Corporation S Krishna Chaitanya inspected the 11 kms of Metro by running a trolley. He told the officers that the speed of Metro work should not decrease even during rains. Within six months, we have to do a trial run of Metro train till Radisson Square. He said that the remaining work of Metro station should also be completed.

During the tour, he saw the work of Vijay Nagar, Meghdoot Garden, Bapat Square, Chandragupta Maurya Pratima Square stations. Apart from this, he also inspected Gandhi Nagar Depot. There he took information about the maintenance technical setup of trains, control room and also asked to increase the staff as per the requirement. After the inspection, he held a meeting with the officers and representatives of the contracting agencies and gave instructions to complete the work within the time limit.

DPR will be made for the metro between Indore- Ujjain

The survey report for metro between Indore and Ujjain was presented in front of the officers. The construction of 45 km route will cost ten thousand crores. Now its detailed project report will be prepared. In the meeting held regarding this, it was told that 11 stations will be built on this route and four kilometers of the part in Ujjain will be built underground. The Chief Minister wants that the metro will be built before Simhastha, but work is not possible in three years, because it will take more than six months to prepare the DPR.
