Storm water line construction worth ₹19 lakh begins in Tulsi Nagar

Indore(Team Newsbuddy) : Tulsi Nagar has taken a major step towards resolving its persistent waterlogging issue. On Sunday, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a stormwater line worth ₹19 lakh was performed by local MLA Mahendra Hardia, along with Ward No. 37 Corporator Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi. A large number of residents, senior citizens, and prominent community members attended the occasion.
The program was also attended by Mayor-in-Council member Nandkishore Pahadia, along with K.K. Jha, Shambhunath Singh, Shiv Bahadur Singh, Basant Nayak, Rakesh Jaiswal, Kamlesh Sharma, Manoj Dixit, Nirbhay Singh Yaduvanshi, Rupesh Sharma, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Gaurav Dabar.
MLA Hardia stated that owing to the active efforts of Corporator Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi, a new development project is being inaugurated every Sunday in Ward 37. He also announced that the construction of Tulsi Nagar’s main road will soon commence at a cost of approximately ₹14 crore, which will include a service road. Furthermore, he informed that the Tulsi Nagar–Apollo DB City main road and the closed road connecting Tulsi Nagar to Ram Mandir have also been proposed to the Municipal Commissioner for construction.
Corporator Sangeeta Mahesh Joshi assured the residents that, along with the main road, construction of roads and drainage lines across different sectors of Tulsi Nagar will be completed in four phases. The detailed plan has already been presented to the concerned authorities, and work will commence once approvals are granted.
On the occasion, residents requested the MLA and Corporator to facilitate the construction of entry routes into Tulsi Nagar, installation of signboards for different sectors, and placement of high mast lights at Tulsi Nagar bridge, BCM Paradise Square, and in front of Apollo DB City’s Gate Nos 1 and 2.
