Naxalites releases kidnapped contractor and labour

Sukma(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).Naxalites have released 4 people who were kidnapped from Jagargunda police station area. One of them also informed his family members by talking on the phone. He talked to his father and said that he is safe and is coming.

It may be mentioned that on January 11, Naxalites had kidnapped 4 people from the village. Of these, three were laborers and one was a contractor. The Naxalites had also taken the contractor’s JCB.
According to information, the contractor was getting work done on the Tap Water Mission Scheme (Nal Jal Yojna). The village from where all four have been kidnapped belongs to Singram of Jagargunda police station area. This area is a heavily Naxalite affected area. This is the border area of Bijapur and Sukma.

It may also be mentioned that Naxalites are continuously active in Sukma. On January 30 also, Naxalites had launched a major attack on the security forces. Three soldiers were martyred in this firing and 14 soldiers were injured. The injured soldiers were airlifted for treatment. In fact, on January 30, Cobra and STF had conducted a search operation in the core area of Naxalites. During this time, as soon as the soldiers attacked, the Naxalites started firing on them.
