1 min readRaipur. Senior spokesperson of State Congress, Dhananjay Singh Thakur has demanded extension of 15 days in the last date for submission of Mahtari Vandan Yojana forms. He said that offline and online form submission of Mahtari Vandan Yojana started on February 5. The facility has been provided, due to which most of the women have submitted applications both offline and online, due to which more than 62 lakh applications are visible. Whereas in reality still lakhs of women have neither applied offline nor online to avail the benefits of this scheme. In such a situation, the state government should extend the last date for submission of forms of Mahtari Vandan Yojana by 15 days beyond 20th February.
Senior State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that there are more than one crore three lakh women voters in the state to whom BJP has promised to give Rs 1000 per month in the name of Mahtari Vandan Yojana during the elections. The scheme was started on February 5. The last date of which has been declared as 20th February, it is understood that the BJP government of the state is unable to fulfill its promise, hence only 15 days have been given to fill this form. The priority of the state government should be to give the benefits of the scheme to every woman of the state.
