1 min readLucknow. After the announcement of seat sharing with Congress, Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav has said that her party was wanting an alliance from the beginning but there was a slight delay because BJP is in front.
Congress and SP announced alliance in UP on Wednesday.
The Congress party has been given 17 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state. However, before this announcement, there was speculation about a break in the alliance.
During a conversation with the media, Dimple Yadav said, “Samajwadi Party was wanting an alliance from the beginning but there was a slight delay because BJP is standing in front of us. I want to congratulate Samajwadi Party and Congress that the alliance has finally reached its destination. Its results will be very good and people will support us because our four pillars of youth, women, farmers and soldiers are angry and sad too. I am confident that in the coming elections you will see people supporting BJP but they are going to vote for the alliance only.”
Samajwadi Party has released three lists of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Dimple Yadav has been given ticket from Mainpuri.
