1 min read

Lucknow (Team Newsbuddy): Regarding the stampede in a satsang organized in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has said that ‘BJP government has abolished the health department, many people died due to lack of treatment.’

Talking to the media, he said, “Officers and administration prepare from time to time that if there is a crowd, how to manage the crowd. What are the needs in an emergency and how to fulfill them. Health services have been completely ruined in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party has been raising this point repeatedly that health services are being abolished.”

He said, “The government claims to build new medical colleges, but the hospitals which were already running and which were started by the Samajwadi Party, if anyone has spoiled that too, then the BJP government has spoiled it. However, this is not the topic. But I remember that Netaji started the medical college in Saharanpur, but find out what is its condition today. The BJP government has not built a single hospital where the poor can get treatment. Many people lost their lives due to lack of timely treatment.

So far 121 people have died due to the stampede in the satsang.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a press conference said that accountability will be fixed and no culprit will be spared.
Orders have been given for a judicial inquiry into the matter.
