Today, preparations are also being made for the proposed programme of the Home Minister in the district on 22nd February. Home Minister Janjgir will hold a public meeting in Champa district and announce the Lok Sabha elections. The central leadership is considering Janjgir Champa district as an important seat in the state.
Janjgir Champa Lok Sabha seat is made up of four districts, which include Janjgir Champa, Sakti, Sarangarh and Bilaigarh. In the assembly elections held on 8 seats of these four districts, BJP suffered a crushing defeat and these are captured by Congress.
