11,591 forms of Mahtari Vandan Yojana rejected in Chhattisgarh

Raipur. The final list for Mahtari Vandan Yojana has arrived in Chhattisgarh. A total of 11 thousand 591 forms have been rejected in the scheme. These forms have been rejected due to wrong information or documents. Some of these forms have also been filled by those who are not married. Nodal officers who examined the application forms said that many people who were not eligible also applied to take advantage of the scheme. However, after scrutiny of documents, his form has been rejected. Further action against applicants giving wrong information will be taken after instructions from senior officials. More than 72 lakh applications were filled under the scheme.

Women and Child Development Department officials said that the forms of women who are living with their husbands but have submitted the certificate of abandonment have been rejected. Apart from this, those girls who are not married have also filled the application form. Apart from this, in some districts men also filled application forms which were rejected during the investigation itself. Besides, the forms of those applicants who pay income tax and apply despite having family members in government jobs have also been rejected.
According to the nodals of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, maximum forms have been rejected in Kondagaon, Durg, Bilaspur, Balrampur and Raigarh. Similarly, the least number of application forms have been rejected in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Surguja, Sukma, Korea and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai.
