Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh strongly condemns attacks on minority community in state.

Raipur. Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh has strongly condemned the spate of attacks against minorities in the state since the BJP came to power. In a press release, Jan Sangharsh Morcha leaders said that in recent days,in Vinayakpur and in Masihi Mandir near Raipur naka in Durg district Vandalism of places of worship of the Christian community, severely bitten pastors and people during prayer by the goonda groups of the fascist Sangh Parivar. Apart from Durg district,in the districts of Narayanpur, Kanker, Bastar, Jashpur, Surguja etc., there were attacks including vandalism in churches , physical attack on the priests and believers praying on Sunday by saffron fascist goons.Police have been filing false cases of religious conversion against the victims has become an everyday thing. Now this does not even become a news of human rights violation. The news is made “Local people opposed the attempt of conversion, police registered a case against the conversion and took action”. Nowhere in the news is it mentioned that fascist Bajrang Dal/Dharam Raksha Dal goons attacked the church and carried out a deadly attack on the praying people/pastor. From the district administration to the highest officials of the state, there is a strong protest against the saffron goons who attacked the minority community. Despite pleading for justice till date, the victims have not received justice in even a single case.
Along with the Christian community, atrocities on Muslim minorities are also increasing in the state. Recently, on January 23, in front of the police station in Tilda near Raipur, communal goons beat up Maulana Asgar Ali, who teaches in a madrasa. Instead of taking action against these goons, the Tilda police instead sent Maulana to jail. Village Bhotidih Madrasa located in District Dhamtari, the Madrasa and the adjacent house were vandalized by bulldozer in a planned manner. No action was taken by the Magarlod Police against the communal forces and they are being continuously protected. On the complaint of Bajrang Dal , by a college in Raigarh a Muslim teacher was fired from his job. The boundary wall of the Muslim cemetery in Kawardha, which was built by the municipality, was demolished considering it an encroachment.
During the previous Congress rule, when the fascist Sangh Parivar attacked Christian tribals on a large scale in many areas of Bastar region in the name of “Roko, Toko, Thoko”, then following the line of soft Hindutva, the Bhupesh Baghel government didn’t took action against the saffron goons or Sanghi Brahminist Hindutva fascist forces. That is why, as soon as they come to power, these neo fascist forces are bent on spreading the poison of communalism, hatred and division in the atmosphere here like in the entire country. Because today there is severe poverty,price rise and unemployment prevalent in the country due to the last ten years of Fascist Modi govt regime.They have no better solution than to deal with the public anger against the inhuman situation, which is the contribution of the last ten years of the Vishwaguru Modi government, but to creating religious frenzy. It seems as if crony corporate like Adani Ambani’ s Hindurashtra of has been created in India including Chhattisgarh.
Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh has demanded the state government to ckean the atmosphere of communal tension/ venom being spread in the life of Chhattisgarh. At the same time, the Morcha has appealed to other democratic organizations of the state to unite and fight for secularism, constitution, reservation and Fight to protect democracy and raise voice against the oppression of minorities by the fascist Sangh Parivar.
