Undefeated Chhattisgarh hockey team enters quarter finals.

Rajnandgaon. The first All India Sub Junior Girls Grass Root Hockey Competition is being organized in the world’s largest Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium from March 11 in Rourkela. In the sub-junior hockey competition, Chhattisgarh has secured its place in the quarter-finals of the competition by defeating Simdega by 8 goals to 2 in its third match.
In this tough match played against the opposition team, Vasundhara took a 1-0 lead by scoring a goal in the first quarter and after that Pallavi scored a goal to bring the score to 2-0, in response to which the opposition team also scored 2-0. -2 goals were equalized. After the intermission of the match, Chhattisgarh players changed their game and adopted the new policy of coach Mrinal Choubey and in the third and fourth quarter of the match, Surekha, Kesar, Khwaish and Simran scored one goal each. And with Geeta Shree’s 2 goals, Chhattisgarh team defeated Subdega 8-2. Team coach, international hockey player Mrinal Chaubey said that in the team’s victory, defense line players Shreya, Paridhi, Mauli, Rashi, Tehzeeb, Geetu, Shyamali, Sudha and Priyanshi also had an excellent performance, due to which Chhattisgarh has secured first position in its pool. High Performance Center Kutra was defeated by 3-2 goals and West Bengal Kolkata was defeated by 10-0 goals. Simran Dongri got the Player of the Match award in the first match, Shyamali Roy in the second match and Geeta Shree in the third match for their excellent performance.
