Indore. With the announcement of Lok Sabha elections in Indore district, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force. The Transport Department has initiated action to enforce the Model Code of Conduct. In the campaign being run for this, challan action was taken on more than 25 vehicles and a fine of Rs 1 lakh was collected. A bus was also seized.
Regional Transport Office Indore and Divisional Transport Security Squad Indore are making drivers aware about following the Model Code of Conduct. Action is also being taken against various violating vehicles. Banners and posters with political symbols installed illegally on vehicles are also being removed. Action is also being taken against vehicles with unauthorized hooters. Action was also taken against vehicles without HSRP number plates. During this period, challan action was taken on more than 25 vehicles. Also, action was taken by confiscating 01 bus which was operated without fitness permit. , A total fine of Rs 1 lakh was collected from these vehicles.
