City Center Mall incident: Innocent child dies after falling from third floor

Raipur. One and a half year old innocent child lost his life in a tragic accident at City Center Mall in Pandari. The relatives had boarded the escalator while going from the third to the fourth floor. Meanwhile, there was also another seven year old child with them, while trying to handle him, the child in his lap slipped and fell down. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead. Due to this, the mother of the angry child became unconscious. Devendranagar police team reached the mall and started investigation of the incident site. After the incident, merchandise traders closed their shops.

According to the police,at around 6.30 pm, Rajan Kumar had come to the mall with one and a half year old Rajveer and other family members. After shopping on the third floor, he was going to the fourth floor by escalator. Rajveer was in the lap of one of his relatives. During this time, the seven year old child who came with him also started climbing the escalator. While trying to handle him, the child fell 40 feet straight from Rajveer’s lap.

After the child fell, the shopkeepers present there and the people who came for shopping were stunned. Everyone started wishing for the well being of the child. However, after some time, when information about the death of the child was received, the traders closed their shops and the goods became empty. As the video of the incident circulated on the internet media, everyone had tears in their eyes. At the same time, after watching the video, some people started searching for their children present in the mall.
