Lok Sabha elections: Chirag Paswan to contest from Hajipur

For the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance ally Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has announced the names of its candidates on five seats. Party chief Chirag Paswan will contest from Hajipur seat. At the same time, Shambhavi Chaudhary, daughter of Minister Ashok Chaudhary and daughter-in-law of Acharya Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahavir Trust Board, has been made a candidate from Samastipur Lok Sabha. Chirag Paswan’s cousin Prince Raj is the MP from this seat.
Arun Bharti has been made a candidate from the most talked-about Jamui Lok Sabha seat. However, Chirag Paswan had already given him the symbol. Arun Bharti is Chirag Paswan’s brother-in-law. Two days ago, Arun Bharti filed his nomination papers from the Jamui Lok Sabha seat.
LJP (Ram Vilas) has made Rajesh Verma a candidate from Khagaria Lok Sabha seat and Veena Devi from Vaishali seat. Veena Devi is also the current MP of Vaishali. There was a discussion that Veena Devi’s ticket could be cut but Chirag Paswan put an end to all the speculations. In the last election, Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser from LJP had won the Khagaria seat. Kaiser went to the Paras faction. Therefore, Rajesh Verma was given the ticket from Chirag Paswan’s party.
