Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma reached the hospital to meet him on Sunday. Home Minister Vijay Sharma met the injured youth and his family.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, the incident is of March 11 when the youth was injured after being hit by an IED. The infection has spread to the entire leg. The youth’s right leg will have to be amputated. This is not a security personnel. But IED does not recognize anyone. Don’t know how many civilians and animals would be injured by it. After getting injured on March 11, the Naxalites kept the youth there so that this matter does not get publicized. But when the villagers put pressure on them and said that the youth will die, then he was taken to the hospital. When the youth did not recover there, he was referred to Raipur yesterday. Currently his treatment is going on.
