For some of us hobbies can just be an task for a few moments of amusement but for others they may be determined intrest that gives them the kind of happiness other things might not, this is a story of another such hobby of a person for whom collecting currencies around the globe means much more than his other ventures. Kapish Kapoor currently living in Nottingham, UK, pursuing a PHD, has been collecting different coins and notes from all parts of the world, he has over 600 notes and coins from over 110 countries. This extraordinary activity is not just a recent intrest but he has been collecting it since childhood, which is also why now he has currencies from all over the world with over 400 coin collection.Having an hobby as such is not easy, you have to connect with lots of people of different places all around the globe and also understand how to exchange currency, when asked what was the reason that your intrest sparked in this hobby kapish said “its intresting to find out more about the culture and how their currency works”. According to him its a wonderful hobby to have, its like recording history. He adds “my experience was good, learning greater understanding of different coutries about their culture and heritage. Learning to identify the geniune currencies and coins, authenticating and finding the right places to look for coins”. With the increase of the digital world, kapish also started an instagram page to find more people who share the same unique intrest with him while also trying to share his intrest on a bigger platform and sharing his story with every piece of currency that he owns.
