Indian sub junior tennis team led by Irfan win’s silver medal in ITF Asia Oceania, Malaysia

Indore (Sports Newsbuddy): In the ITF Asia Oceania Final-Qualifying Sub Junior Tennis Team Competition organized by Sarawak Lawn Tennis Association, Kuching, Malaysia from 25 March to 30 March 2024 in Kuching, the Indian Sub Junior Tennis Team led by Indore Tennis Club Chief Coach Irfan Ahmed defeated Australia 2-0 in the quarter-finals, defeated Korea 2-0 in the semi-finals and entered the finals. They lost the final match to Japan 0-2 and won the silver medal. By winning the silver medal, they have qualified for Prague, Czech Republic World Group. Tennis teams from 16 countries of Asia Oceania participated in this tournament, Irfan has led the Indian tennis team before as well. On this achievement of the Indian Sub Junior Tennis team, General Secretary of the Indian Tennis Association, Anil Dhupar, President of Madhya Pradesh Tennis Association, Anil Mahajan and all the office bearers congratulated them.
