South East Central Railway ranks first in revenue earning

Raipur, Bilaspur, South East Central Railway Zone, which breaks all its records in the field of freight loading and gross earnings every year, has set a new record in the highest ever freight loading and gross earning in the year 2023-24. South East Central Railway has loaded 236.02 million tonnes of goods in the financial year 2023-24, which is about 21.4 million tonnes more than the previous financial year. This increase in percentage has been 10%. During the last financial year 2022-23, 214 million tonnes of goods were loaded. Similarly, an initial revenue of Rs 29490 crore was earned, which is the highest in the entire Indian Railways. Along with this, better work was done in infrastructure and passenger facilities.
