IDS, NIT Raipur sign MoU for Applied Blockchain Centre

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Information Data Systems (IDS) and NIT Raipur signed MoU for onboarding to Bharat Blockchain Network supported by AICTE and also establishing Applied Blockchain Centre in campus as part of Bharat Blockchain University Industry Cluster aligned to guidelines of UGC UI Linkages.

Prof. NV Ramana Rao, Director – NIT Raipur shared his vision of making this Applied Blockchain Centre (ABC) a Hub-spot of Blockchain Research & Innovation, Student Upskilling, Intellectual Property Development & Commercializing IP developed for the benefit of state of Chhattisgarh.

Aravind Voruganti, Global Vice President – Blockchain & Emerging Technologies and Sunil Yadavalli, Global Business Head at IDS, emphasized the significance of this partnership in bringing Institutions of National Importance to take part in Bharat Blockchain Network.

This ABC focuses on Blockchain for sustainable mining and energy sector, aiming to drive innovation and practical applications in these critical industries of Chhattisgarh. Prof. P Y Dhekne, Registrar, Prof. P. Diwan, Dean (Research & Consultancy), Prof. D. Sanyal, Dean (Faculty Welfare) , Dr Nitin Jain, Dean (Student Welfare), Prof. S. Sanyal, Prof. S. Gupta and Prof. M. Pradhan, Dr Pradip Singh, HoD (CSE), Dr. Sanjay Kumar, HoD (IT), Prof. Priyanka Tripathi, HoD (MCA), of NIT Raipur along with the Faculty Coordinators (Applied Blockchain Centre) Dr. Rakesh Tripathi and Dr. Chandrashekar Jatoth were present during the MoU exchange ceremony.
