Chief Election Officer Anupam Rajan has called upon all the voters of the state to participate in the great festival of democracy and vote in various phases of Lok Sabha Elections-2024. The Chief Election Officer has said that on April 19, reach your polling booth and vote fearlessly and play your active role in strengthening Indian democracy. He said that voters are the carriers of rich democratic traditions. Democracy becomes refined and prosperous only with the active participation of voters. Voting has given another opportunity to make the democratic tradition more prosperous and to perform constitutional duty.

Rajan has said that free, fair and transparent election process is an important step in democracy. He has appealed to every voter of the state to vote freely and fearlessly. Rajan has said that strong security arrangements have been made during the voting. Strict action will be taken against those who spread any kind of rumours.

Disabled voters can request for a wheel chair or other necessary assistive device for themselves through the “Saksham App”.
