Durg (Team Newsbuddy): Union Home and Cooperation Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Shah addressed a huge public meeting in Durg Lok Sabha of Chhattisgarh on Friday. On this occasion, he said, ‘Congress’s politics of appeasement took the life of Bhuvaneshwar Sahu. The people of Chhattisgarh proved by electing Ishwar Sahu that the politics of appeasement will not work in the state.’

He said, ‘Congress always opposed the establishment of Chhattisgarh state, but former Prime Minister and BJP leader Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee established Chhattisgarh. In the coming two years, the Bharatiya Janata Party government will root out Naxalism from Chhattisgarh. Congress nurtured Naxalism due to its selfishness. Modi eradicated Naxalism from the entire country in 10 years after becoming the Prime Minister. Naxalism survived in Chhattisgarh because Bhupesh Baghel’s government was here. Within just 4 months, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chhattisgarh government has eliminated more than 90 Naxalites. 123 people were arrested, 225 people surrendered. In the coming two years, the Modi government will uproot Naxalism from Chhattisgarh.
