Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Many social welfare organizations and enlightened people are engaged in efforts to keep the city’s environment clean. Under their efforts, the second Swargarohan unit, which cremates bodies with less wood, was established at Juni Indore Muktidham.
Environmental scientist Dr. DK Wagela said that in this unit, the process of cremation can be done with one-third amount of wood or dung cakes. The first Swargarohan unit was started three months ago by the Maharashtrain Samaj at Rambagh Muktidham.The second unit was established at Juni Indore Muktidham and a body was cremated in it with religious rites.
On the occasion of the inauguration of this unit established by Anil Joshi, director of Vishal Fab India, an industry in the city, Jai Narayan Dammani, Ramnivas Bharani, Om Prakash Khandelwal, Govind Rathi, Mahesh Dammani of Juni Indore Muktidham Vikas Samiti, Muktidham Administrator Ajay Agarwal, besides Dr. OP Joshi, Nirmal Bhatnagar, Amrish Kela, Manoj Dixit, Rajendra Singh, Anil Johri, Virendra Porwal, Chanchal Kaur Harnam Singh, Gurubaksh Singh, Rambabu Agarwal were present.
Harsil Arjun Bhai Patel, the creator of Swargarohan unit, said that in this unit, a dead body is cremated using 80 to 100 kg of wood. The cremation is completed in 2 hours with religious rituals. During cremation by this method, very little smoke and carbon dioxide gas is emitted. This helps in keeping the environment clean.
