Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): After the remand ends in the Mahadev Satta case, five accused appeared in court on Tuesday. EOW will present all the accused in the court. EOW had taken Chandrabhushan Verma, Satish Chandrakar, Sunil Dammani, Rahul Wakte and Ritesh Yadav on remand.
In this case, a few days ago, the petition of EOW was heard in the court. Earlier, EOW had interrogated all of them in jail. EOW took major action and arrested Ritesh Yadav and Rahul Wakte. EOW had produced both the accused in the special court. Both the accused were absconding for the last 8 months, who have been arrested from Delhi and Goa.
According to the agency, absconding accused Rahul Wakte and Ritesh Yadav have been arrested in the Mahadev App Satta case. They were absconding since the arrest of Chandrabhushan Verma. Accused Rahul Wakte was located by the Bureau’s team from Delhi and Ritesh Yadav in Goa. Where they were hiding for about 7-8 months. Accused Rahul Wakte used to receive hawala money and deliver it to Verma. The agency has received information about 3 registered firms in the name of the second accused Rahul Wakte. In which a large amount of cash has been deposited by the accused. Accused Ritesh Yadav used to help Chandrabhushan Verma and Satish Chandrakar by receiving money through hawala along with operating the panel. Rs 43 lakh of hawala has been frozen.
Pune Police had also registered an FIR
Accused Ritesh Yadav was operating Mahadev panel in Pune. Where the Bureau’s team raided with the help of Pune Police and succeeded in arresting 8 accused operating the panel. Pune Police has registered a crime against those running the panel and taken action. Both the accused have been produced before the court and taken on police remand. The agency says that more important information is expected to be obtained from the accused.
