Since both his parents were in the police service, he did not get much time from his parents, but his coach Sir (Manoj Rajput) never let him feel alone, the parents also helped the child by making every possible effort. Sameer wanted to learn archery from the sixth grade and his father also wanted the same. After a lot of searching, he came to know about Indore Raj Archery Academy and with just 6-8 months of hard work, Sameer won the medal.
Another student of Raj Archery Academy, Rajkumar Osari, who is preparing to join the Indian Army, also participated in the 5000 meter 5 km in the Indo-Nepal International Championship and won the gold medal, which is Rajkumar’s first international medal. Rajkumar’s father Ramkaran Osari works in the Narmada Project. Rajkumar is not only sweating to join the Indian Army by staying in a hostel away from home, but also works to meet his expenses. He wakes up at 3 in the morning and practices hard, and is setting an example.
President of Raj Archery Academy, Sharmila Bhalase said, “The credit behind these medals goes to the hard work of retired international coach of the army, Raj Rajput ji and the struggle of the parents of the students. Recently, Raj Archery Academy held its camp in Himalaya International School Dhamnod and Saket International School Anjad Barwani and also encouraged talented children and guided them to move forward in this sport. The camp received great responses from the children and the school, Principal Vishal Shah and School Director Sushil Kotwale . We are making every possible effort to make the country proud.”
