Raipur /Durg / Bilaspur (Team Newsbuddy) :- People were very interested in voting in the third phase. The highest voting was seen in Raigarh district and the lowest voting was seen in Bilaspur Lok Sabha seat. Voting is going on for 7 Lok Sabha seats Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh, Durg, Janjgir-Champa and Surguja for the third phase in Chhattisgarh. 57.14% voting has taken place. The highest voting so far has been 60.87% in Raigarh. While the lowest voting has been 46.93% in Bilaspur. During the third phase of voting, a voter died at a booth in Jashpur district who came to vote, while the voting process is being completed in a good atmosphere in all the seven Lok Sabha seats. If minor arguments and disputes are kept aside, the voting process is going on amid the vigilant arrangements of the police. Till 11:00 am, people boycotted voting and locked the polling station at Ghodli polling station in Bemetara district due to the problem of drinking water. The Chief Minister and the Governor participated in the voting with their families.
Early in the morning, Congress candidate from Bilaspur Devendra Yadav with his wife at the Sector 5 booth in Durg, Vijay Baghel with his wife at the Sector 9 booth, former minister Prem Prakash Pandey in Durg, Arun Bora in Durg, division commissioner Satyanarayan Rathore, IG Ramgopal Garg, collector Richa Prakash Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla, Mayor Neeraj Pal in Sector 5, MLA Rakesh Sen in Vaishali Nagar, MLA Doman Lal Kosevada in Ahiwara assembly constituency, MLA Gajendra Yadav in Durg city, MLA Lalit Chandrakar in Durg rural, former Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Durg Mayor Dhiraj Bakliwal, Bhilai city District Congress Committee President Mukesh Chandrakar, Bhilai city District BJP President Mahesh Verma, former President Brijesh Bijpuria, MIC member Sandeep Nirankari, former Mayor Neeta Lodhi, Nirmala Yadav also went to their polling stations and stood in line to cast their votes.
