District level control room formed to prevent child marriage

Bhopal ( Team Newsbuddy): Vidisha collector Budhesh Kumar Vaidya has ensured special arrangements to prevent child marriage in the district on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 10. Various types of committees have been formed by him at the district, district and village level, which will discharge the responsibilities of preventing child marriage in their respective areas.

In compliance with the instructions given by Collector Vaidya, a district level control room has been formed by District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department, Bharat Singh Rajput, who will inform the senior officers for immediate action after receiving information related to child marriage. The telephone number of the district level control room is 07592-299058. Assistant Director of the Department, Akanksha Maravi has been appointed in charge of the control room. The control room has been set up in the Women and Child Development Department, Women Empowerment Office operated near Durganagar Main Road.
