Indore(Team Newsbuddy): City’s illustrious businessman and Managing Director of Agarwal Coal Corporation, Vinod Agarwal, has earned a prestigious position among the nation’s leading philanthropists. Ranked 31st among 119 esteemed donors by Edelgive Hurun India Foundation, Aggarwal’s generous contributions have amounted to approximately Rs 34 crore during the fiscal year 2023-24, dedicated to the holistic betterment of society.

A grand felicitation ceremony honoring the country’s foremost philanthropists was held at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Mumbai. Organized annually by Hurun and Edelgive Foundation, this philanthropy summit serves as a platform to recognize the noteworthy endeavors of India’s most prominent donors, who have made substantial contributions towards significant societal initiatives. Esteemed personalities from across the nation graced the event, symbolizing their wholehearted dedication to societal upliftment.

During this year’s event, Aggarwal, along with nine other distinguished philanthropists, including luminaries such as Infosys founder K Dinesh and Asian Paints’ Jalaj Dani, was bestowed with this esteemed honor. Anas Rehman Junaid, Researcher and Founder of Hurun India, and Nagma Mulla of AdvalGive Foundation, presented the accolade to Aggarwal, acknowledging his unwavering commitment to social welfare.
