Raipur wins

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Under 16 Elite Group Inter District Tournament-2024 is organized by Chhattisgarh
State Cricket Sangh from 17 May 2024. 8 teams participated in the tournament. Final
matches was held from 2 June .

Final was played between Raipur and Durg at Kalyan
college Ground, Bhilai. Durg won the toss and elected to bat first.
Durg in their first inning made 159 runs in 61.5 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. For
Durg, Yug Deshlehra made 55 runs. Raipur, Meet Kukreja took 5 wickets and Vedant
Jain took 3 wickets.
At the end of day 3, Raipur in their first inning made 468 runs in 141 overs for the
loss of 6 wickets. For Raipur, Harshit Kumar Yadav made 135 runs, Vedansh Khedia
made 122 runs and Ameya Morey made 82 runs. For Durg, Chandransh Yadav took four
wickets.
Fourth day play could not start due to wet out field. Match was drawn,
Raipur won the match by first inning lead.
