BJP’s intentions exposed regarding reservation – Deepak Baij

2 min read

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy) : State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the BJP government of the state does not want to give reservation to the deprived class. That is why instead of getting the Governor to sign the Reservation Amendment Bill, the government has formed a new committee. Not only this, the government has also kept the tenure of the committee for two years, that is, by forming a committee, the BJP government has postponed the reservation for two years. What is the need for the government to form a committee. The state assembly has unanimously passed the Reservation Amendment Bill for all classes and sent it to the Governor. When the bill was passed unanimously in the Assembly, the BJP MLAs also supported it at that time. The Reservation Amendment Bill provides for 32 percent reservation for ST, 13 percent for SC, 27 percent for OBC and 4 percent reservation for the poor of the unreserved category. BJP should tell which provision of the Reservation Amendment Bill it disagrees with that a committee has been formed. State Congress President Deepak Baij said that the government should explain why it has formed a committee regarding reservation? Has the Raj Bhavan returned the old bill to the government? The Raj Bhavan has asked the government a question regarding the bill on its behalf, for which the government has formed a committee. The BJP government’s ill intentions regarding reservation are evident from the formation of the committee itself. The government wants to stop the reservation of reserved classes by hook or crook.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that if the government’s intention is to give reservation to the deprived classes, then this is the easiest way. The bill should be signed by the Raj Bhavan. Now there is a double engine government in the state. If there is no fault in the intentions of the BJP, then there is no reason why the bill should be stopped unnecessarily.
