Congress leaders, MLAs, officials inspect Balodabazar site

Law , order deteriorated in the state, government should resign – Congress

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): State Congress President Deepak Baij, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel along with senior leaders, MLAs, went to inspect the Collector and SP office of Balodabazar. After inspecting the burnt District Magistrate Office and SP Office, the Congress leaders also met the affected people of Balodabazar, people of Satnami community, delegation of Chamber of Commerce and people of all communities and took detailed information about the incident. People told that if the government had been cautious, this incident could have been prevented. People had come from all over the state and from outside the state as well. The riot started from where the rally started, but the administration did not take any concrete steps to control the crowd.

After meeting the people, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, State Congress President Deepak Baij, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant also addressed the journalists at Congress Bhawan.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that BJP has a lot of faith in the CBI investigation. People of Satnami community are demanding a CBI inquiry into the incident. The government has got CBI investigation done in many cases. What is the problem in getting this case investigated? To save whom is the government afraid of CBI investigation. If the government had been vigilant and cautious, such a big incident would not have happened. The incident of burning of hundreds of vehicles along with the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police office in Balodabazar is proof of the fact that BJP is not able to handle the government.
