Jan Sangharsh Morcha (CG) stage protest, demands peace, harmony in state

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): On the initiative of Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh (Anti-Fascism Front), a protest was organized at Gandhi Chowk, Durg, Chhattisgarh, demanding justice and peace. This demonstration was focused against the incident of killing two Muslim youths of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh and seriously injuring another youth by saffron cow goons in Arang on 6th June on false allegation of cow smuggling, against the vandalism in the administrative office on the demand of arresting those responsible for breaking the Jaitkham of Satnami community in Baloda Bazar and against the atrocities on innocent Satnami youths by the police administration in response to that incident, against the large scale felling of Hansdev forest in the interest of BJP’s super corrupt friends corporate Adani, justice for the victims of Bemetara explosive factory owned by BJP leader, against the oppression of tribals and converted Christians by BJP’s fascist Vishnudev Sai government, against filing a case against internationally renowned writer Arundhati Roy and Kashmir’s educationist Professor Shaukat Hussain under the autocratic repressive law UAPA and against bulldozing the houses of poor hardworking Dalit people occupying the land of Bhilai Steel Plant. Prasad Rao, the convenor of Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh, Comrade Saura, the state secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star, representative of Adivasi Matra Sangathan, Savita Bauddh, the convenor of Ambedkarwadi Mahila Sashaktkaran Sangh, Tuhin, the convenor of Krantikari Sanskritik Manch, Comrade Kaladas from CMM Mazdoor Karyakarta Samiti, Chandrabhan Singh from Adivasi Yuva Sangathan, Pastor Choaram, Ramakant from Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha, intellectual Mr. Gill, Comrade R N Yadav from TUCI and the convenor of Satnami Yuvak Sangathan expressed their views. Revolutionary folk songs were also presented in the demonstration. After the demonstration, a memorandum addressed to the President of India was handed over to the Durg district administration.
