Creativity honored in Vasant Rashinkar Smriti function

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The samman ceremony, organized every year in the memory of Vasant Rashinkar, the founder of the city’s prestigious institution Aaple Vachnayale, was held with great dignity in Aaple auditorium.
The guests of the program, former director of Marathi Sahitya Academy Ashwin Khare and social worker and educationist Vinita Dharma, described Aaple Vachnayale as a unique center of culture promotion and preservation and respectfully remembered the selfless social contribution of Vasant Rashinkar. The chairman scholar Madhusudan Tapasvi, while referring to the honor of creativity being done by the institution, in his speech praised the work done by poet, sculptor and social worker Vasant Rashinkar in the society through Aaple Vachnayale. Before this, Subhash Waghmare, who was present as the occasion speaker, in his heartfelt and effective address, not only remembered the works and dedication of Vasantji with intensity, but also described him as the cultural heritage of the city. In this award ceremony organized under the joint aegis of Aaple Vachnayale and Sarvottam, for the year 22, talented poet and novelist of Ratnagiri, Dr. Balasaheb Labde was honored with the highest honor of the ceremony, Kavivarya Vasant Rashinkar Smriti Samman. The Vasant Rashinkar Kavya Sadhna Samman’22 given for notable works, Nitin Bhat from Amravati, Sharad Kavathekar from Pune, Jayshree Wagh from Nashik, besides Bharat Satpute from Latur, Tukaram Pundalik Khillare from Parbhani and Raghav from Baramati were honored. For the year 23, poet Pratap Waghmare of Latur was honored with the highest honor of the ceremony, Kavivarya Vasant Rashinkar Smriti saman awarded with honor.
Harshada Sunthankar of Belgaum, Uday Bhide of Thane, Seema Gandhi of Pune, Sanjivani Bokil, Ramesh Pawar of Amalner, Richa Deepak Karpe of Dewas and Prof. Dnyaneshwar Handargulikar of Udgir were honored with Vasant Rashinkar Kavya Sadhna Samman’23, given for notable works. On this occasion, Ramu Bhaiya Date Memorial Award given by Achyut Potdar was given to Rohit Agnihotri for special achievement in the field of music. Rakesh Nagde, who has been selflessly serving the citizens of Rajendranagar for many years, was honored with the special ‘Manava Seva Samman’ by the organization this year. The first half of the program was smoothly conducted by Shriti Rashinkar. In the second half, an effective Marathi Kavi Sammelan was organized under the chairmanship of senior poet Bharat Satpute. In this Kavi Yatra, apart from the poets of the country honored in the ceremony, Medha Khire, Umesh Thorat, Manish Khargonkar, Deepak Deshpande, Aishwarya Dagavkar, Jaya Gadge, Sushma Avdhoot, Abha Nivsarkar, Dnyaneshwar Tikhe of Indore overwhelmed the audience with their diverse poems. Vaijayanti Date conducted the Kavi Sammelan in an interesting manner. After Saraswati Vandana sung by Manohar Shahane, the guests were welcomed by Kishore Patil, Deepak Deshpande, Pundlikrao Shinde and Sandeep Rashinkar expressed gratitude. On this occasion, a large number of intelligent listeners were present in the program.
