1 min read

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Chhattisgarh is also going to get a new police captain. In fact, the current Director General of Police Ashok Juneja is retiring on July 21 next month. 1989 batch IPS officer Ashok Juneja was made DGP on November 11, 2021. The then Congress government had extended his tenure for two years.

Discussion of these names intensifies

As for the new DGP, 1992 batch ADG Arun Dev Gautam and SRP Kalluri are currently leading the race in the state. Arun Dev Gautam will retire in September 2027, while 1994 batch SRP Kalluri’s retirement is in the year 2031. SRP Kalluri was posted in Bastar during the previous BJP government but the previous Bhupesh government sent him to the loop line. In such a situation, there is speculation that this time he will be given a respectable position.
