Training for learning through play under School Readiness held

NCERT officials join virtually

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy) : Under the National Education Policy 2020, ‘School Readiness’ program – 3 months of play-based school preparation class operation for grade 1 children, 4-day virtual training of teachers teaching in government English medium schools for the current academic session was given under the guidance of Shri Rajendra Kumar Katara, Director, SCERT Chhattisgarh Raipur. Children will learn through play in 3 months and at the same time their all-round development will take place.

In this training, mainly three goals were highlighted on which maintaining good health and happiness of children, creating effective communication in children and enthusiasm of children towards learning and connection with the environment have been said. This teaching method is for the all-round development of children, which children will have to achieve in 3 months.

In the inaugural session of the program, Dr. Sharad Sinha of NCERT spoke on Vidya Pravesh module. Dr. Deepa Das, Dr. Jessie Kurien, Madhu Dani were present as the program in-charge of SCERT along with Dr. Jai Bharti Chandrakar, Dr. Bhaskar Dewangan as the teacher and technical assistant.

130 teachers registered for this virtual training and ensured their participation in the training. This training was also broadcasted live on YouTube.
