EOW presents challan in coal levy , Mahadev case

(Team Newsbuddy): The State Economic Offences Investigation Branch (EOW), which is separately investigating the alleged coal levy and Mahadev scam in the Bhupesh Baghel government in Chhattisgarh, presented the challan in both the cases on Friday. The entire process of presenting the challan was also followed, but a copy of the challan was not given to the defense lawyers. What is the detail in the challan is also not known. The only information received in the challan of the coal levy case is that there is a challan of about 8 thousand pages. At the same time, the pages in the Mahadev case are also not known. No information has come out about what charge has been imposed on which accused in the challan. This information is limited only to the court, agency and prosecution.
Faizal Rizvi, the defense lawyer in the coal levy case, said that the challan has been presented, but we have not received a copy of the challan. There is no information yet about the claims made by the agency in the challan. We will get a copy of the challan on Wednesday, only after which the facts mentioned in it will be known. According to the information, suspended IAS Sameer Vishnoi, Moinuddin Qureshi, Roshan Kumar Singh, Parekh Kumar Kurre, Rahul Kumar Singh, Montu alias Virendra Kumar Jaiswal, Laxmikant Tiwari were brought to the court during the presentation of the challan in the coal scam case. At the same time, Suryakant Tiwari, former CM’s Deputy Secretary Saumya Chaurasia and suspended IAS Ranu Sahu appeared in court through video conferencing. Presentation of the challan means that the charge sheet, investigation, all the facts till now have been placed before the court. There has been no debate on this yet.
On the other hand, the challan of Mahadev case was also presented in the same court. No information about it has also come out, because the copy of the challan was not given to the defense. All the accused in this case who are in jail were presented in the court. All the accused including Satish Chandrakar, Asim Das, Chandrabhushan Verma, businessman brothers Anil and Sunil Dammani were presented in the court.
