MPPSC declares SSE preliminary exam results 2024: 2,775 candidates qualify for mains

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced the results of the State Service Examination (SSE) Preliminary 2024. A total of 2,775 candidates have cleared the preliminary exam, with results declared on Saturday. Additionally, 553 candidates were listed as provisional.
The SSE prelims 2024, conducted on June 23, aimed to fill 110 vacancies in various government departments. Out of the nearly 1.83 lakh registered candidates, 1.5 lakh appeared for the exam held in two shifts.
The results were released within a month of the exam, applying the 87–13 percent formula due to an ongoing legal battle over the OBC quota issue. This formula designates 87% of the seats as the “main part” and 13% as the “provisional part.”
For the State Forest Exam 2024, results and cut-off marks were also released. A total of 284 candidates were selected under the main part and 44 under the provisional part for 14 available posts. The main exam for these candidates is scheduled for October 6.
The qualified candidates for the SSE mains exam will compete in the next round, likely to be held from September 9 to September 14.
