CBI raids Congress leader’s house in PSC scam case,
2 min readBilaspur(Team Newsbuddy) : CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has raided the house of Congress leader Rajendra Shukla in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh early this morning. This raid has been done in connection with the investigation of the State Public Service Commission (PSC) scam. CBI is engaged in the investigation of the State Public Service Commission (PSC) case. A 5-10 member team of CBI has reached Rajendra Shukla’s old residence in Yadunanand Nagar. Action is going on at Rajendra Shukla’s residence.
What is the whole matter
If media reports are to be believed, many incidents of large-scale fraud and corruption have come to light in PSC. In these incidents, it has come to light that in this recruitment, leaders and officials have illegally recruited their relatives. Taking this matter seriously, the state government has handed over the responsibility of investigation to CBI.
Rajendra Shukla’s son’s name also involved
Rajendra Shukla’s son Swarnim Shukla’s name is also said to be involved in this scam. Swarnim Shukla is currently working as a Deputy Collector. Media reports have reported that CBI has also raised many questions regarding Swarnim’s name. CBI team has also reached Rajendra’s new house near Hi-Tech Bus Stand.
CBI is collecting documents
CBI team is investigating every corner of the house. The team is investigating all the parts of the house and collecting necessary documents. If media reports are to be believed, FIR related to PSC fraud is also being investigated. People related to PSC scam are being questioned. It is believed that new facts may come out in this case soon.
FIR is registered in Balod district
An FIR has been registered in Arjunda police station of Balod district on the charges of irregularities and corruption in the recruitment of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC). In which the names of the then chairman Taman Singh Sonwani, secretary, examination controller and officials and leaders are included. The police will investigate all the recruitment examinations held after 2019.
