Chhattisgarh’s mountain man hoists tricolor on Australia’s highest peak

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Mountain man Rahul Gupta, who conquered the world’s highest peak Everest, has now created another history. On Independence Day, he hoisted the tricolor on Australia’s highest peak Mount Kosciusko.

Rahul Gupta congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh on Independence Day from the peak of Mount Kosciusko. He said in his video message that “Today Chhattisgarh on the top of Mount Kosciusko, Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya.” This campaign is part of the campaign organized by Mission Possible of Delhi. A total of 11 mountaineers from Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh were involved in this campaign. The expedition was led by Narendra Yadav of Haryana.

The mountaineering started from the last camp at 2 pm on August 14 as per Indian time and achieved success at the peak around 9.30 am. During this period the temperature was around -4 to -5 degrees Celsius.
