Melodious Hindustani tunes resonate on foreign pianos
2 min readIndore(Team Newsbuddy): In the ‘Russian Raga’ program, which focused on the jugalbandi of western and Indian classical music, pianist Rameshwar Patidar gave a tremendous performance on the grand piano.
In the program organized by Abhinav Kala Samaj and The Grand Black Russian Piano Studios on the occasion of Independence Day at Ravindra Natya Griha, pianist Rameshwar Patidar started his performance with classical music with Russian piano technique. Patidar gave a wonderful presentation of Raag Puriya Dhanashree along with Rishabh Soni on flute, Chinmay Vinchukar on sarod and Rohit Sharma on tabla. In the next round, Patidar presented the tunes of bhajans like Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajaman…, Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari…, Hum Katha Sunate…, Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram… to the audience which received a lot of applause. The program concluded with Vande Mataram and patriotic songs composed by AR Rahman. In the first round of the program, Adil Hussain, Nitanshi Maru, Nachiket Joshi, Nilesh Soni and Tanay Gangwal set the tone for the program by playing tunes of foreign songs on the piano. The audience appreciated the confidence of all the young pianists. The program was conducted by Ankur Sarasiya.
The program was inaugurated by Shobha Chaudhary, Pt. Sunil Masurkar, Satyakam Shastri, Vishwas Shedh, Mrinal Vyas, Kusum Poddar and Poonamchand Patidar. In the end, all the artists were felicitated by Asif Shah, Alok Bajpai, Vivek Nigam, Sanjay Adspurkar and Sonali Yadav. The guests were welcomed by Abhinav Kala Samaj president Praveen Khariwal and program coordinator Dr. Rahul Maru. The program was conducted by Ankur Sarasia. In the program, tribute was paid to late singer Anil Sarasia.
