MP women wrestlers shine in national event, bags three medals

Indore (Team Newbuddy): Vikram awardee Omprakash Khatri of Indore Madhya Pradesh Wrestling Association said that women wrestlers of Madhya Pradesh performed brilliantly and won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Pooja Jat of Madhya Pradesh lost to Haryana by 2 points in the final moments of 53 KG and had to settle for silver. Madhuri Patel won bronze medals in 50 KG and Hansaben in 59 KG. International Hansaben defeated Haryana 10-0 but had to settle for bronze after losing to Delhi by a few points. The winning wrestlers are pictured with their coach Jagdish Patel, Manish Khanderao, Rinku Yadav, Lokesh Parmar, Paramjeet Barse and medal winning wrestlers. On this achievement, Olympian Pappu Yadav, Vikram awardee Omprakash Khatri, Suresh Yadav, Govind Gurjar, Vikas Yadav congratulated all the winning wrestlers for their excellent performance. Olympian Pappu Yadav said that in any case, the national wrestling competitions are very tough.
