NIT Raipur hosts “Aura”: The Photography Exhibition

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): National Institute of Technology Raipur’s Click Club- The Photography Club organized a special three-day exhibition titled “Aura” from 19th August 2024 to 21st August 2024 on the occasion of World Photography Day. The event showcased the creative talents of the club’s members, offering a vibrant exploration of visual art and storytelling through photography.

The inauguration ceremony took place in the esteemed presence of Dr. A.B. Soni, Director (I/C), NIT Raipur, who graced the event as the chief guest. Dr. P.Y. Dhekne, Registrar, Dr. Manoj Pradhan, Professor, Mining Engineering, Dr. Nitin Jain, Dean (Student Welfare), faculty members, and students were also present during the event. The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of Dr. S. Sanyal, Faculty In-charge, Click Club.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional ribbon-cutting, followed by the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The dignitaries, along with Dr. A.B. Soni, then proceeded to inspect the exhibition. Dr. S. Sanyal, along with the enthusiastic members of the Click Club, provided detailed insights into the various categories of photographs on display, explaining the creative process behind each genre. The exhibition featured a rich assortment of photographs, carefully curated by the club members. The collection explored a wide range of genres, including wildlife, architecture, landscape, street, and lifestyle photography, each reflecting the unique perspective and skill of the photographers. In her feedback, Dr. A.B. Soni commended the club members for their dedication and hard work in organizing such a visually captivating exhibition. She lauded their efforts in bringing together such a diverse array of photographic art, which not only provided a visual feast for the attendees but also fostered meaningful interaction among the participants.

The “Aura” exhibition was not just a display of photographs; it was a platform for dialogue, inspiration, and creative exchange, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
