Divya Kala Mela: A platform to empower potential of Divyang entrepreneurs

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Divya Kala Mela organized at BTI Ground in Shankar Nagar, capital Raipur is being highly appreciated and liked by the Divyangs as well as the general public. People are also coming to the fair to shop for Raksha Bandhan festival. The craftsmanship and products of Divyang artisans and entrepreneurs from 16 states are being appreciated and purchased. Divyangs have got a great platform for marketing in this fair. Stalls have been set up for colorful rakhis, home decor, woolen, cotton and silk clothes, various types of food items, organic food items, jute items, handicrafts and handloom items, pashmina shawls, shoes, jewelry, wooden items, toys and food from every state. This fair is being organised from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm and cultural programmes are also being organised every day. This fair is organised till 23 August.
It is worth mentioning that Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the 17th ‘Divya Kala Mela’ at BTI Ground in Shankar Nagar, capital Raipur yesterday. Divya Kala Mela is an initiative which provides a new platform to Divyang entrepreneurs and artisans to showcase their art and enterprise. This fair has been organised from New Delhi to various cities of the country like Varanasi, Bhopal, Mumbai, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Patna. In future, it will be organised in cities of the country as well.
It is worth mentioning that lakhs of Divyangs and common people reach Divya Kala Mela. Regarding Divya Kala Mela, people say that this is a great initiative from the government; this not only showcases the entrepreneurship of Divyangjans but also promotes the theme of Vocal for Local.
