1 min readIndore( Team Newsbuddy): A woman from Indore has lodged a complaint against her friend’s brother, accusing him of intentionally infecting her and her son with HIV under the guise of marriage and swindling her out of Rs 18 lakhs. The FIR was registered at Rajendra Nagar police station, and an investigation is currently underway.
According to the complaint, the woman, who had separated from her husband and lived with her 15-year-old son, became romantically involved with her friend’s brother. The relationship, which began under the pretense of marriage, took a dark turn when both the woman and her son started experiencing health issues. Medical tests revealed that they were both HIV positive.
Suspecting foul play, the woman confronted her friend, who admitted that her brother was indeed HIV positive. The woman, angered and devastated, rushed to the police station on Saturday night to file the complaint. She alleged that the accused knowingly exposed her and her son to the virus, endangering their lives, all while promising to divorce his wife and marry her—promises he never intended to keep.
The complaint also details how the accused allegedly manipulated the woman into spending Rs 18 lakhs on him. The police have registered the case under several relevant sections, and further investigations are ongoing.
