Police register FIR after 5 hours demonstration by Congress workers

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): In Ravishankar Shukla University, ABVP workers beat up a student mercilessly because he refused to take membership of BJP and ABVP. When the NSUI people went to protest against this, the police, under pressure from the ruling party, registered a case against the NSUI workers.

While ABVP people had broken the heads of two people, no FIR was being registered against them.

On coming to know about this, PCC President Deepak Baij reached Saraswati Nagar police station and demanded the police to register an FIR. Under pressure from the government, the police officers were not ready to register the FIR. Then the PCC President sat on a dharna for 5 hours in the police station. He declared that until an FIR is not filed against the victim, he will continue to sit on the dharna. He said that his head is broken and he has got stitches. The police are not being allowed to write the report. Then the police registered the FIR.

PCC President Deepak Baij said that under the protection of the government, anarchic elements have gone out of control. To get justice for the students, we have to sit on dharna in the police station. The police is busy saving the criminals, that is why the law and order situation of the state has gone out of control
