Indore{Team Newsbuddy}: Two Pakistani Hindu citizens, Vicky Kumar and Poonam Kumari, who arrived in Indore on an Air India Express flight from Sharjah, were detained at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport on Tuesday for violating visa conditions. As per the stipulations of their visa, the passengers were required to land in Delhi first before traveling elsewhere in India. However, they inadvertently arrived in Indore, bypassing the mandatory stop in Delhi.
Airport authorities intervened during an immigration check and halted their onward journey. Both passengers are being held at the airport and will be deported back to Sharjah on a flight scheduled for late Thursday night. This is not the first time passengers arriving from Sharjah or Dubai have faced issues at the Indore airport, as e-visas are not valid at this airport, resulting in detentions and deportations in previous instances.
