After 25 years, Abhinav Kala Samaj’s open air stage is blooming again
1 min readIndore (Team Newsbuddy): Once upon a time, the open air stage where Sanghi music festivals of national level were held and thousands of Indore music lovers used to stay all night, it seems as if the golden days of the same open air stage of Abhinav Kala Samaj have returned after a few decades. Today, as soon as the lamp of ‘Lata Swar Tarpan’ was lit by Abhinav Kala Samaj’s president Praveen Kumar Khariwal, Abhishek Gawade, Govardhan Limbodia, Rajendra Kaushik, Alok Bajpai, Sonali Yadav, Nitin Maheshwari and Dharmendra Dave, it seems as if the darkness of misery and anonymity of almost two decades on this prestigious stage was dispelled and the halted caravan of voices started moving again. Praveen Kumar Khariwal, President of Abhinav Kala Samaj, which is on the verge of completing almost 25 years, told that earlier many prestigious music festivals were organized on this stage. Later, unfortunately, this stage remained neglected for a long time. The list of goals that were set on the occasion of the completion of 75 years of the society also included bringing a new era to this open air stage. It is a happy coincidence that the culture lovers of the city got the gift of a newly decorated stage in Indore through an event dedicated to Indore’s daughter Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar
