Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): ) With the aim of promoting ethnic and eco tourism in the state, a meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Tourism Department Secretary Anbalgan P. In the meeting, plans were also discussed to strengthen the information network and ensure the participation of stakeholders in international tourist events.

Secretary Anbalgan P. while addressing the meeting said that it is a matter of happiness that you all have shown your commitment towards tourism promotion in the state. The coming together of people associated with ethnic and eco tourism on the same platform is a good sign for the development of tourism. He said that the Tourism Policy of 2020 will be revised and reviewed so that it can be given a new look. Efforts are also being made to bring home stay guidelines under a framework. Anbalgan said that tourism is a very sensitive industry. Instead of mass tourism, we should focus on value tourism, so that tourism can get a level platform.

Managing Director of Tourism Board Vivek Acharya said that the main objective of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is to provide tourism facilities to tourists and stakeholders. He said that an interactive portal is needed, which includes information of all stakeholders. The process of new mobile application has also been started. Acharya said that a booklet is being prepared to promote the film policy and provide all the information related to the policy.
